Downtown Florence Fright Fest

Join us in Downtown Florence on Friday, October 11, 2024!

Downtown Florence is kicking off the Halloween season with Fright Fest, held annually on the second Friday of October.

Put on your best Halloween costumes and bring the kids out for a spooktacular evening of and music and costumes! Enjoy costume contests, spooky music from DJ VooDoo, and more! From 6:30pm to 9:00pm, adults can enjoy live music from The Tonez. There will be food vendors, festive libations, and plenty of spooktacular fun at this free admission event! 

New for 2024, we are excited to partner with the Florence County Emergency Management Office to present their annual Trunk or Treat event the same night as Fright Fest! The Public Safety Trunk or Treat will run from 5:30-8:30 p.m. in the Florence County Complex parking lot, just 1/2 block over from the 100 block of S. Dargan Street in the Florence County Complex parking lot. Directional signage will be on-site. 

We've also got a ton of costume contests happening throughout the evening with lots of chances to win! There's no cost to enter and contestants just need to arrive at the stage 10 minutes prior to their judging time for consideration in the contest. Check back the week of October 7 for final costume contest times. This year, we've got costume contests for Kids (under 13), Teens (13-17), Adults (18+), Canines, and Best Group Costume (2+ members).
