After Hutty: Printmaking Workshop
10:00 am to 3:00 pm
Explore the use of line in etching and printmaking in this fun workshop inspired by the works of Alfred Hutty.
Join us at the Florence County Museum for a fun-filled day of printmaking. Inspired by artist Alfred Hutty’s tree drawings and prints displayed in the exhibition Hutty: The Art of Observation, participants will create their very own drypoint etchings of trees. No experience is necessary. Assistant Professor of Fine Arts, Brittany Gilbert will walk you through the process step-by-step from drawing with line, to etching the plate and finally, printing on our press! All supplies are provided by the museum and included in the workshop fee.
The workshop is $85.00 and tickets can be purchased here.
