FLT: Rumors Auditions

The Florence Little Theatre will hold auditions for Neil Simon's Rumors directed locally by Shannon Dunn on Sunday, August 20 and Wednesday, August 23. Registration for each audition time will be 30 minutes prior to audition time.

The production dates are November 3-11 and actors ages 18+ are welcome to audition for the production. Auditions will consist of readings that will be provided at the audition. Please bring a non-returnable headshot if available (this does not need to be a professional shot). 

Rumors contains a significant amount of strong language, rating the production equivalent to PG-13.

Rumors Synopsis

At a large, tastefully-appointed Sneden's Landing townhouse, the Deputy Mayor of New York has just shot himself. Though it's only a flesh wound, Ken Gorman's self-inflicted injury sets off a series of events causing four couples to experience a severe attack of Farce. As their tenth wedding anniversary party commences, Ken lies bleeding in another room, and his wife Chris is nowhere in sight. Chris and their lawyer, Ken, scramble to get “the story” straight before the other guests arrive. As the confusions and miscommunications mount, the evening spins off into classic farcical hilarity.
