Indigo Virtual Workshop Series - Dyeing with Natural Indigo

Join visiting artist, Catherine Cross Tsintzos as she teaches how to create resist patterns and dye natural fibers with indigo. Participants will learn how to create a Indigo Ferrous Vat, create resist patterns and dye natural fibers.

About the Artist
Catherine Cross Tsintzos, interdisciplinary artist of the Art and Agriculture Project, shares her knowledge from years on the Southeast Indigo Trail from coastal North Carolina to Florida. She has provided lectures, consultations, workshops, exhibitions and more during partnerships with art and history museums, schools, universities and nonprofit groups. She has participated as a Visiting Artist through Residencies in schools throughout the Southeast. In addition, she has been awarded residencies to research and create art.
