Beautiful Butterflies on Slow Art Day

Slow down and watch watercolors colors mix as you create your own butterfly using a wet into wet watercolor technique. As your paint dries, view selected artwork and quietly reflect on what you see. Then join us in the educational wing to add additional details to your creation as we discuss your observations. These activities are inspired by the color woodblock, Azaleas and Butterflies by Anna Heyward Taylor, Wright Collection of Southern Art.
